Privacy Policy
The short version. We collect only what you choose to give us, such as your name, company, business email and the numbers you enter in our Savings Wizard. We use it to send you what you asked for and to talk with you about your CRM. We do not sell your personal information, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Rip and Replace, LLC ("Rip and Replace," "we," "us" or "our") handles personal information collected through www.ripandreplace.me (the "Site"), including our Savings Wizard, contact form and related emails. Our services are aimed at businesses, and the Site is intended for business professionals in the United States.
This policy does not cover third-party websites or services linked from the Site, which have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect

Please don't send us sensitive personal information, such as health, financial account or government ID numbers, through the Site.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our servers and hosting provider automatically receive standard technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time of the request. We use it to deliver and secure the Site, for example to prevent abuse through rate limiting and to diagnose errors. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
3. How we use information
- To provide what you request. We generate your personalized savings report and email it to you, and we respond to your messages.
- To follow up with you about your report or inquiry and about our services, where you have agreed to this or where it is otherwise permitted by law.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site, including preventing spam, fraud and abuse.
- To run our business. This includes keeping records of inquiries and proposals, and meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To protect rights and safety, and to enforce our Terms of Use.
We use the figures you enter in the Savings Wizard to calculate your estimate. We may also use aggregated or de-identified data, which cannot reasonably identify you, to improve our pricing assumptions.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws. We disclose personal information only as follows:
- Service providers that process information on our behalf and under our instructions. These include:
- our website hosting provider;
- our email delivery provider, which sends your report and our notifications;
- business email, productivity and customer-relationship tools we use to manage inquiries;
- workflow automation tools we use to route inquiries internally.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, under duties of confidentiality.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information to comply with law, legal process or a lawful government request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Rip and Replace, our users or others.
- Business transfers. If we're involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
- With your consent, or at your direction.
5. Cookies and tracking
The Site does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics or social-media tracking pixels. We host our fonts and files ourselves, so loading the Site doesn't send your information to third-party font or content networks. Our emails do not contain tracking pixels.
Because we don't track you across websites, we treat browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as consistent with how we already operate. If we ever add analytics or similar technologies, we will update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above:
- Inquiries and report requests: generally up to 3 years after our last interaction with you.
- Records related to a client engagement: for the length of the engagement, plus the period required for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
- Technical server logs: kept for a short period, typically no more than 90 days, unless needed to investigate a security issue.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see Your privacy rights).
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted access to systems and data, and anti-abuse controls on our forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
8. Your choices
- Marketing emails: you can opt out at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or emailing rip@ripandreplace.me. We will still send transactional messages, such as the report you requested or replies to your questions.
- Providing information: you can browse the Site without giving us any personal information. We need a business email address only to send you the detailed report.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under state privacy laws. These include the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Oregon and other states. Subject to exceptions allowed by law, these rights may include the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy in a portable format;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information;
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. We do not engage in these activities.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

- We will verify your request, usually by confirming control of the email address we have on file, and respond within the time required by law, typically 45 days.
- You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may ask for proof of their authorization.
- If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line "Privacy appeal." We will respond to appeals within the time required by law.
We honor these requests for all visitors, regardless of which state you live in.
10. Client data in projects we deliver
When we build, migrate or manage a CRM or other system for a client, we may process personal information contained in that client's data, such as their customers' records. In that role we act as a service provider or processor on the client's behalf. We handle that data under our written agreement with the client, and not under this Privacy Policy. Questions about how a client uses its data should go to that client.
11. Children
The Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Where information is processed
We are based in the United States, and we and our service providers process and store information in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to, and processed in, the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice, for example on the Site or by email. Your continued use of the Site after an update means the updated policy applies.
